Content Takedown & Notice-of-Removal Procedure
Content Takedown & Notice-of-Removal Procedure
SoveWell, LLC ("SoveWell," "we," "us") respects the intellectual property and privacy rights of others. If our website ever includes content submitted by patients, visitors, or other third parties — including but not limited to comments, testimonials, reviews, uploaded materials, or interactive tools — this procedure explains how to request that such content be reviewed or removed.
1. What This Covers
This procedure applies to any content on sovewell.com that was submitted, posted, or uploaded by someone other than SoveWell itself, if such functionality exists on the site. It covers requests based on:
- Copyright infringement
- Trademark infringement
- Violation of an individual's privacy (including posting of another person's personal or health information without consent)
- Defamatory or unlawful content
2. How to Submit a Takedown Request
Anyone who believes content on our website infringes their rights or violates their privacy may submit a written request to:
Email: info@sovewell.com
A takedown request should include, to the extent possible:
- Identification of the specific content at issue (e.g., a URL or clear description/location on the site)
- A description of why the content should be removed (the right being infringed or violated)
- The requester's name and contact information
- A statement that the request is made in good faith
3. Our Response Process
Upon receiving a takedown request, SoveWell will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 2-3 business days
- Review the reported content against this policy and applicable law
- Remove or disable access to content found to violate this policy, or that presents a credible legal or privacy concern, within 5-7 business days of that determination
- Notify the original submitter (if identifiable) that their content was removed and why, where practicable
4. Repeat Violations
SoveWell reserves the right to restrict or terminate a user's ability to submit content to the site if they are found to have repeatedly submitted content that violates this policy.
5. No Obligation to Monitor
SoveWell does not undertake to actively monitor all user-submitted content in real time. This procedure describes how reported content is handled once brought to our attention; it does not create an ongoing duty to review content that has not been reported.
6. Limitation
This procedure is separate from, and does not replace, any process for reporting concerns about the accuracy of your own medical records or clinical information, which should instead be directed through your patient portal or directly to your care team as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
